Galaxies as Far as the Eye Can See!

 
In their magnificent publication Cosmos, Arditi and Lachieze-Rey write of galaxies gathering in clusters, clusters in turn making super clusters in the form of stretched-out filaments, immense webbing of three-dimensional cosmic lace.  I consider these ideas as I present this series of work on the cosmic 'hall of mirrors,' a reflection of our galaxy many times over.
