The Appassionata op. 57 was composed by Beethoven in 1804.

 It is one of the sonatas characterized by organic unity of the constituting parts, allowing the listener to understand the meaning of the work. In Appassionata, Beethoven rendered the richness of nature’s forces
and the immense power of humankind who manages to overcome it. In these blown glass pieces I sought to define elements with colour, shape and gesture within a unified whole.
